Project Independence Veterans (PIV) is a Wigan-based charity supporting disabled veterans and their communities across Greater Manchester and the North West of England.

Local help, from people who know the area

We are not a distant call centre. We are local, and our work happens face to face — often at Wigan Armed Forces Community HQ, where we hand over mobility scooters and wheelchairs to veterans and their families.

Much of our hands-on work, including mobility aid handovers, takes place at Wigan Armed Forces Community HQ. Contact us and we will arrange a time.

Wigan is our home, but we support disabled veterans across Greater Manchester and the wider North West of England.
